Fountainhead is South Florida’s preeminent residency and artist studios. Founded in 2008 by Kathryn and Dan Mikesell, Fountainhead takes a holistic approach to empowering artists, while cultivating and nurturing a community who values them.

Since inception, the program has grown to become a pioneering force in the arts and culture landscape developing innovative artist and community engagement programs, and cultivating key relationships with leading art institutions in South Florida and beyond. Fountainhead’s ultimate vision is to build a better future rooted in the belief that artists help us get there.
